Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza (born June 26 April 1984) is a stand-up actor and comedian who is famous for her ability to express her wit in a humorous way. April Ludgate is her role in Parks and Recreation. The first web-based series she appeared on was the Jeannie Tate Show following the time she appeared in improv, sketch and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she appeared as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People as in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. We should celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza, an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. Both her parents are both Irish/English and Puerto Rican. Plaza was educated at an all girls Catholic school in 2002, and then the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. She was president of her high school's student government and participated in Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year. When she was at the end of her second year in college, Plaza had a stroke that left her with expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. She is now fully recovered. Plaza has been performing sketch and improv in New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. Also, she's been performing stand-up comedy at The Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the debut Episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. Troopers on CollegeHumor featured Plaza as the Princess in a satirical sci-fi persona. Plaza first made her debut on saxophone in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first came to prominence in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, included Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. She was Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. and Cat Adams on Season 11, of C.B.S. Criminal Minds, a TV serial. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the character. The day after her debut, Plaza appeared in An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
