Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman is the author of many research publications as well as numerous awards to her credit and is the recipient of numerous international and national distinctions. She has been a consultant to numerous governments and agencies throughout the world on policies as well as research on children as victims within the legal system. She works as a Consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice.
